After the Party

Welcome to the April 20, 2009 edition of Nobama Blog Carnival.

Welcome, sane citizens. The whole President 'Bama thing was a bad idea, but there are lots of people with good ideas out there in the blogosphere, and here is another round of commentary to give old Barack and his buddies some additional free speech to complain about.

Let's remember the values that have made America great and never, ever, ever give in to socialism, hope, change, handouts, bailouts, and people who hate tea parties! Thanks as always to our readers and contributors.

The Whited Sepulchre presents The Whited Sepulchre: I'm The Strawman posted at The Whited Sepulchre: "I hold the view, along with many other libertarians, that most of the government should call in sick for the next six to twelve months. Take some time off. Since they are incapable of doing no harm, the least they could do for us is nothing. "

J.D. Bell presents Howard Dean Triple Dog Dares Barack Obama To Compromise On Health Care | it-takes-work.com posted at It Takes Work: "Now Dean is concerned that Obama may compromise on the proposed health care package that the Executive office put together."

Wenchypoo presents The Law of Unintended Consequences Part 4 posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo's Mental Wastebasket: "Is this not slavery? Awaiting the Anointed One

Welcome to the January 11, 2009 edition of Nobama Blog Carnival.

As the media and the Left joyfully await the blessed reign of the Anointed One, here's another round of insightful commentary from the anti-Obama regions of the blogosphere. A hearty thanks and a happy new year to our readers and contributors.

Economy

Here we examine the unprecedentedly big numbers being considered in Obama's economic plans, along with other financial considerations. Don't miss the chart showing how much you'll owe over the next few decades!

Bill OConnell presents Keep the Change posted at libertyslifeline.com: "Here is where Obama’s lack of executive experience is on full display, and the man is yet to take office."

And here's an amazing story of big plans on the public tab.

Racial factors

Political issues in black and white.

Curry Kenworthy presents Liberal fantasies and racial elections posted at Curry Kenworthy: "Some liberals are worried that Obama will be assassinated because he is black. What part does racism really play in today's political situation, and why do conservatives actually oppose Obama?"

Congress

This commentary was written while the Blagojevich situation was building up.

U.S. Common Sense presents Blagojevich and Democrats on Collision Course posted at U.S. Common Sense: "The Senate Democrats have vowed to block Burris from being seated. Blagojevich believes they won't be successful. Who will win this face-off?"

Cult of Charisma

Anyone out there afraid of charismatic leaders with obsessed, uncritical followers?

Cristy Li presents GMA Guest: "The One" Best Represented Teachings Of Jesus. Huh? posted at Cristy Li: "Rev. Ed Dobson who never voted for a Democrat claims that he spent a year in quiet meditation and believed 'The One' was closer to Jesus."
