After the Party

Welcome to the April 20, 2009 edition of Nobama Blog Carnival.

Welcome, sane citizens. The whole President 'Bama thing was a bad idea, but there are lots of people with good ideas out there in the blogosphere, and here is another round of commentary to give old Barack and his buddies some additional free speech to complain about.

Let's remember the values that have made America great and never, ever, ever give in to socialism, hope, change, handouts, bailouts, and people who hate tea parties! Thanks as always to our readers and contributors.

Financial Scams

J.D. Bell presents Dr. Seuss Explains The Bailout | it-takes-work.com posted at It Takes Work: "This is the cash that came from the stash and paid for the house that Bob bought...."

Ian Welsh presents The Executive Coup posted at Ian Welsh: "The Fed has announced $2 trillion of new spending, none of it approved of by Congress. Not to put too fine a point on it, but that’s a lot of money."

Reality Check

Paul Gable presents It's Okay to Call for Obama's Resignation posted at Paul Gable: "It’s really very simple: nothing angers anyone more than the sense of being defrauded."

Selkirk presents What It Means To Be A Liberal posted at Political Castaway Blog: Broadcasting Conservatism to Rescue America: "Armed Conflict is Bad.... Religion is Bad.... Western culture is Bad...."

Cult Figure

James Yanke presents Reaganite Republican Resistance: Obama the Narcissist posted at Reaganite Republican Resistance: "He clearly displays many of the tell-tale indicators of NPD in public... we can only guess how it is manifested in his private life."

Misguided Government

Steve Faber presents Obama Forces out Waggoner at GM - A Dangerous Trend in American Business? posted at super gas saver: "Now the Obama administration can step in and tell a company that the administration knows more about their business than the company’s board of directors does, so they should be the ones to decide who leads and who doesn't."

The Whited Sepulchre presents The Whited Sepulchre: I'm The Strawman posted at The Whited Sepulchre: "I hold the view, along with many other libertarians, that most of the government should call in sick for the next six to twelve months. Take some time off. Since they are incapable of doing no harm, the least they could do for us is nothing. "

J.D. Bell presents Howard Dean Triple Dog Dares Barack Obama To Compromise On Health Care | it-takes-work.com posted at It Takes Work: "Now Dean is concerned that Obama may compromise on the proposed health care package that the Executive office put together."

Bailing out socialism

With that in mind, the Obama critics of the blogosphere bring you another round of commentary from a variety of perspectives, but united in sensible opposition to the Maker of Change. Many thanks to our readers and contributors.

David Lamb presents Building Bridges to Nowhere posted at Killer Buffalo: (Following "green" thinking to its logical conclusion, if Obama wants people to ride the subway and save the planet, why fix the roads?)

Governing Liberally
